Description:
Brand new manual steering box. These boxes are designed for the 1967-1970 Ford Mustang (also fits Mercury Cougar) and feature the popular 16:1 ratio. These boxes feature all new casting, sector gear shaft and internals (this is NOT a rebuilt box).
Also included is a universal joint to go from this box to a 3/4" DD application (shaft, column etc). The universal joint is made from steel with a Black Finish and features a fastner that is designed for better attachment and upgraded safety. These joints use a high quality needle bearing and have a working angle of up to 38 degrees.
